Re: Long time BBQ fan jumping into the deep end

I have sold a couple bottles of sauce over the last few years. One thing I have learned, it is easy to get your friends to fork over a few dollars for your sauce. It is very hard to get stranger to give you their money. One keyword you will use a lot, "price point". There is only maybe 50,000-75,000 people with their own sauce on market. Not a big challenge. . Watch what the big dogs do and emulate them best you can.

Thanks for the advice. I have put a lot of thought into that. Market research and networking are my focuses right now... And getting my sauces worked out.

Welcome to the forum KLSfounder. Good to hear you have your brain in order. I went down that path several years back and there is nothing like the feeling of having purpose and being able to act on it. I look forward to seeing your posts.

Thanks Bryan... It'll be slow going at first but I have alot of drive and focus and the 2 finished sauces are getting pretty good reviews. Lot's of work to be done on the research and business side. I appreciate the kind words and support.
