yall nice fokes here give my friend a nice welcome . she is a coworker of mine but at the main office of hell . she also does great catering foods and is a home grown cajun . [smilie=banana.gif]

I like your home town, Laffitte. My buddy and I rode into town on our bikes some years ago on our way to Florida. Someone told us of a block party down town. Bars were serving drinks at curbside, bands playing and people dancing in the street. I asked some girl if this was an every summer event. She said, "hell no, every Friday night, except in Jan/Feb". Yep, my kinda town and people.
Would love to see some Cajun recipes that you use.
Do you have a recipe called Crawfish Madeline". Kinda like potato salad but made with crawfish with a great taste.
