Hi from NoHo SoCal

just lurking and learning. want to build a UDS and try my hand at smoking. love pulled pork and babyback ribs. total noob to cooking these. previous experience is like most people i think ..grilling steaks, chicken and burgers. looks like there's lots to learn.

Welcome, and if you are going to build a UDS, I just built one last year, and have a good documentation of the build. If you would like to see, the link will follow the post. Just a few rules to set, don't listen to anything BW says he is playing with a full deck, but he is playing Uno, and everyone else is play Texas Hold Em'.... We all like food porn, anything you you cook post up some pics, and finally, if you post up a cook with no pictures, it didnt really happen. But really we have a great bunch of people here with a vast knowledge of information. If you have a question just ask.

Equipment:
Kingsford 24" Charcoal Grill
Gas grill (any), grilling meats for sale at events
Thinking about building an old style smokehouse and a drum grill/smoker.
Tool set, just like with any other thing you need the proper tool set for it. :D
