Hello From Texas

Hello everyone. My name is Danny and I am a grill-a-holic. Was that step one? Am I at the right place?

I have been reading this great forum and just signed up. I have been cooking outdoors since my Boy Scout days in the sixties. I am primarily a griller. My father-in-law has more time to do the smoking for the family outings.

Anyway, I have invented a “grillware” and am in the beginning stages of marketing it. Even though it is actually on the market I don’t want to mention it now and look like a spammer. I have participated for many years on a few other outdoor sporting type forums and I know how we all feel about someone looking like a peddler with a first post. I am still working on the website and will tell you all about it hopefully soon.

I look forward to a great forum experience and the exchange of grilling recipes, tips, and ideas, etc.

Thanks,
Danny

Welcome. Yea, you found the right place. Lots of great folk here. And some grumpy ones too.

Welcome Danny. Condolences on the NE Texas scenario. Hear there is a bunch of grit eaters who cook with pine wood up in that area. Now hopefully you have dodged them afflictions

The so called "East Texas piney woods" are a little further south of me. I don't know what they smoke with, but the piney woods area sure is some pretty country.
