Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands

It was fun just looking. Loads of good looking Weber cookers. Love the Rancher Kettle, a. number of folks on the forum would like that one.

Hey Bigweel,

Nope, we don't make it, just eat it, easaly 2 to 3 lbs per week. The one thing that I have to look out for is in the shop when I make remarks like :"Dat's een lekkere jonge Goudse" which roufly(?) translats in : "That's some nice young ..." where we can refer to both women born in Gouda and the cheese...

Last week in a supermarket actually a father eyebold me wandering if I ment his daughter, or the cheese I was (that time) actualy refering to...

Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands

Yep them unintentionally double entendres can get a person in trouble. Neighbor fella jogged by my house one day along with his good looking wife and fine looking female Doberman. Before I thought too much I yelled out, "She's looking good." Meaning the dog but his wife looked real good too. Sure he thought I was prob trying to shuck his corn so to speak.
