hello everyone im from Harrisburg IL

I am a welder an fabricator; I build coal an oil dryers, 6 months ago my wife an kids got me a char-griller an I love it for grilling not to happy about the smoker. cant keep even temps, made a conversion plate for it an dropped the stack down about 4inchs from the grates. been wanting to build one myself just got my hands on a Stainless steel oxygen tank an I am getting ready to start on it Monday on my lunch break its size is 5450 cubic feet any one with any ideas I would really appreciate it

Welcome to The Forum BD, good to have you here. I'm guessing you will get some help here with that build.

Sounds like a fun project! If you want to get rid of that CG pro I'll take it off your hands! Mine has seen better days.

Welcome. Sounds like a fun project for a metal working guru. Now dont guess I know what is an RF smoker? I dont have much use for offset creosote factories with sideways fire boxes. I would turn that fine tank on its nose and make an upright direct with optional water pan. That is how the Good Lord intended for us to make bbq. Offsets try to violate way too many laws of physics..waste too much fuel etc. It makes me mad just to see one..lol
