Hello and thanks for sharing!

I love internet forums. What a great way to share information and conversation with people of similar interests.

I'm from the Southwest, love green chile and just about any kind of grilled meat. As a matter of fact, if it can be grilled, I'll give it a try. I love to camp, too. Although, that may be because it involves cooking outdoors. I like good wines, and good beers as well.

I'm a long time gas griller, but for more versatility, I recently picked up a Weber Gold. There really is an amazing difference in flavor. Smokey Joe will be accompanying me on my next camping trip. My old camp stove needed replacing anyways. Gas still has its place with me. Convenience, for one. Safety, is another. I live near the grounds where a Wine festival is held. I get quite a bit of company that weekend. A big gas grill will cook a lot of burgers without having to worry about kids, pets, and tipsy dinner guests knocking into or spilling a hot grill. And sometimes, I'll still want the char and grill marks, but perhaps not the smoke. I know, crazy, huh

Everyone older than eight has done something original, at one time or another, that worked better than conventional knowledge. I'm a student. I'll learn from any source.

I found the forum on a Google search, and after kicking around a few of them, I thought this was the one for me. I look forward to hangin' around. Pass me a cool one when you get a chance. Thanks

Hello and thanks for sharing!

Welcome to the jungle. Nothing wrong with gas grills, I still use mine. Some folks here will make fun of you for it but some of them told me they would get one if they could afford it.

Sent using smoke signals because I'm a cheap bastard!

Say, Randy, anyone ever actually send those samples, or have you been feasting on wishful thinking? It would explain your thinning...
