Hello

Hello all, found your site with the link to drbbq's podcast from the BGE forum. Great interview Ray.

Anyway, here is another Canadian that has fallen victim to the BBQBug. What started out as an attempt at building a small 4' backyard smoker, turned into a 20' 5000lb catering and competition business
Here is a pic of my rig

and here is a slideshow of the build
http://www.bubba-q.ca/BuildingBubbaQ.htm

Have accumulated(emptied the bank acct) several Q's including a WSM, Traeger 075, Weber Kettle, Barrel Smoker, Hibachi : ) etc. etc.

I'm very active in the growth of the Canadian competition scene and have created http://www.BBQTalk.ca for events and info for Canadian BBQ'rs. Although we do have a growing # of American visitors. Have met and spoke with DrBBQ several times and really appreciate what he does in the name of BBQ.

By now you are probably bored to death so I will stop here: )
Looking forward to talking with you folks.

Harvey aka Bubba-Q

My smokers seems, uh, er...small, compared to those monsters! Nice job. Where do the fire go?

Gator, the smoker is the barrel that is facing you in the picture, The smoke/fire box is located on the backside of that tank. The other tank is for high heat cooking with wood and/or charcoal.
