Greeting from CO

I just wanted to stop in and say hello all and am looking forward to leading from some more seasoned BBQ folk. For now I have a Masterbuilt 7 in 1 smoker/grill (it was a gift) and cannot wait to get into something more Q ready. I'll be posting questions (Already have in the mod section) And reading other posts. Thanks all.

Good morning , your eminence. Well , you are a night owl. I got up early this morning so , even though I'm fairly new here myself , let me be the second to welcome you to the website.
You will find lots of friendly and knowledgable folks that hang out here. I have learned a TON just these past few months.
You'll probably find lots of masterbuilt fans that will tell you that they make great cue all the time on that unit. (I was thinking it was an electric smoker).....you know , even if you buy a digi-cue for the current smoker , you can always use it on your WSM later...it's not like you'd be throwing the money away........anyhow , good luck and keep on smokin!

Thanks guys. Max, as I said it was a gift. One day I hope to put the smokers I have at the bottom of my posts and the MB will not be on there. Hambone, thanks. I shoulda mentioned that its a smoker/grill in the other post but I had already gone on for sooooo long. I was thinking the exact same thing regarding the DigiQ. Bbquzz, thanks.

I was just joking man, you will find that alot of people on these forums can not afford the big name brand stuff. I have 2 Brinkmanns, and they are low on the food chain. And all of us will tell you, it does not matter the equipment, it's the user.

Durango!! Dang that is my favorite town. Now it do get a little wild and wooly on Halloween. We missed it by one year where a crazed War Vet was tossing live grenades off the balcony of a hotel near the fun section of town. Got tired of the local boys whining when the Texicans start loading up all their gal friends at closing time. Real fun place. You are a fortunate young man to get to live there.
