Real Butcher VS Hack And Pack

Took a cook just down the street from me for July. (drop off) Called my butcher and it's a little shy of a dollar a pound to have him butcher the hog as to do the cardboard box of pig parts. Plus he will cut it up any way I want. My whole hog day's are done. Much more easy to do parts as from rooter to tooter. So if you have a big cook, may be cheaper to have a whole hog cut up by your butcher. Just tossing it out there.

How can a cut up hog be cheaper than buying and cooking just shoulders or butts?

Well the trick is to cook one little bitty pig for show them fill em up on butts and picnics. That give a low hassle Hiwayawn Louawe. That come from my old chum Pigman Jim so it bound to be right.
