Had some fun yesterday. Helped the wife out with a few catering jobs at the store. Note how we put the tail on the steer.

Did up about 50 pounds of assorted types of sausage on the Vermont box gasser but no pic, it got a little crazy at the store.

Fuel of the day. Used apple and hickory chunks in the WSMs, same with the wood pellets.

Val did a load of sides. No pics because she was flipping out and I didn't want to piss her off by getting in the way. Sides were, baked beans, chicken wing mac & cheese, cheesy green beans,
corn bread, German tater salad. All done on the VC box pit.
Cold sides were Tuscan white bean, slaw, mac salad, tater salad.
Long day, but where can you work all day and get paid to drink beer all afternoon.
4 pork butts also. Sorry no pics. Both jobs were a timed drop off and had to bust ass to get them there RIGHT on time. Why the hell George does that, I don't know. What the hell is 5-10 min. when it comes to BBQ.

A lot of work I know and I bet it was all delicious!

What are you cooking today? Lol.....

Is there a grill or smoker y'all don't have?

Far as the table goes, the health goons have no problem with it. It gets cleaned before and after use with straight bleach. Health goons have swabbed it a few times and it always passed! So knock it off table haters.

That was at the BBQ store where Val works. Not a whole hell of a lot of pits I have not cooked on. It's fun to take a new pit you have never cooked with for a test drive! :D

If this table was just cleaned with straight bleach before that pig was put on it, it wouldn't be the color it is. I've used a lot of bleach in my life and that table is beyond bleach!

I doubt the health goons have ever seen that table.

Yea Nick, you are always right. Do you need a video next time I get swabbed by the heath goons? I'm sure your bucket head brother does. The black is from the grease that has soaked into the wood. What the hell do you know about BBQ any way. Oh yea, turn on the tank, twist a few knobs, burgers and dogs on after a few min. You never post a pic of any thing cooked outdoor. I'm calling ********! On you. Post a pic of you with any kind of grilling or BBQ equipment, I'll apologize. Lows, Home Depot display pics don't count. Your a phony BBQ wannabe! Bet the wife boils hot dogs for you then brushes liquid smoke on them. You say, yum, Yum. Thanks mama!

Now Chris, when I have a chance I'll find more pics for you. Yes, please show me the health goons swabbing your greasy table. Hot dogs boiled in liquid smoke are even better than brushing it on them. Lowes is spelt "L-O-W-E-S, not Lows. Yes I do use gas more often than charcoal, more for connivence. I have a job so when I get home from working I'm in a rush to get dinner on the table. As it is we usually eat at 7:30 so that beats the 8:15 it would be with charcoal. It's a concept you wouldn't understand, .........work, job. Your apology will be accepted when given and yes, you are still a dick! :finga: :finga: :finga: :finga: :finga: :finga: :finga: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz:

Your all a bunch of table NAZI'S! That table has not been used in quite few years as we don't do whole hog any more. It will be sacrificed in a bon fire at my pal's benefit at camp June 25th. I kid you not Nick, straight bleach scrubbed with the good old 3M green pad, bake in the sun all day, and that black stuff is still there. I rinse with a huge pot of boiling water off the T-fryer, still there. Yes, it's gross looking, but as I said, " no problem with the health goons" Had a nice maple top table with a nice square steel tube frame. See the pic from 8 years ago below.

Some asshole's stole it. ( Oh, stolen from again. Stupid cops! Are never around. Cut the chain off the trailer, GONE! ) But that was treated with bees wax and rubbed into the maple to beat hell on a 90-95F day. As you can see there is some black on that too. Got any answers on what to do to keep it from happening? Plastic cutting board is evil in my book! Sure, I can get it any size, any thickness from my SIL's boy friend who works with that jazz all day long. (super cheap, or free) What's the answer Nick?

I apologize. Nice pics on the grill job. Now get a smoker and smoke something. ;)

P.S. Dicks that stole my table, tried to cut the lock off the hitch. Big chaw marks on the lock.

1st pic is on a WSM. I'll get you more this weekend, I'm starting the firemens fair cook. Usually do about 100 lbs of pulled pork for our annual fund raiser
