New fryer purchase

any suggestions on a new fryer? I dont want to spend alot it only for occasional use

I am going to be getting one of these units soon...




I think they work better than those fryers now...you can use real crisco to fry and keep the heat up without the BS recovery time! :biggrin: as you use them on the stove top!!

Or outside on a burner. Go to a restaurant supply store and pick on up. Good value.

Academy sports sells it for ~ $45.00 and Bass Pro privates labels it for a little over $50.00 and occasionally on sale for ~$42.00 - that's when I got mine.
