Why would you want to fry a turkey with pictures? I think the depictured turkeys fry up much better. It's kinda like frying turkeys with feathers. The bare skin does much better. HTH.

And to think some people are happy you're back. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I had no idea a turkey could be done in less than 45 minutes.

I just may have to give this turkey frying a go.

Could I use a less cholesterol laden oil? Like soybean oil

Mango,

The smoke point of soybean oil is 450º, so it should be fine to use.

Great little site youve put together, thou like said before I really wouldnt suggest frying inside a garage, or on a deck, or sidewalk, or driveway. I do mine in the grass.. if some oil spills in the handling no biggie.

Cabela's sells a 'miracle' fry oil, its a combo of peanut, Soybean, and sunflower oil. Works great.. and its cheaper than the 3gal. containers available @ walmart or kroger.
