I have had my eye on one of these for a while now. I had the wife pick one up tonight and Bed Bath and Beyond.
It seems to be a good unit. the spaghetti size rods make it real heavy for its size. The rods hold the knives firmly in place. The rods are dishwasher safe on the top shelf but can't hold up to anything but normal setting without drying. Instructions say to let air dry for 12 days before reinserting knives.
I figure I may wash it once in my lifetime so I am ok with that.
From the pics you can see that my longest knife would not go all the way in to the handle. Min and Max blade lengths are not indicated on the outside of the box or the instructions.
