I used Guava wood I got from Greg Kemp in Hawaii last weekend for my ribs. It was very good...strong in flavor like mesquite...but not in taste...somewhere inbetween mesquite and apple I think...a little will go a long way to flavor the meat for sure!

I would add some to your repitoire if you want to spice it up a bit! Smells great when it's burning too! His site is listed in the links section! $15 for over 10lbs of fist sized chunks shipped USPS Priority Mail! :( Works great in the WSM!! :D
