Havana Garlic and Lime Marinated Pork Chops

Going to whip a couple of marinated pork chops and fried okra. First time for this Marinade.

I use a Jaccard tenderizer, it allows the marinade to get all the way into the meat thus staying moist while cooking.

Bag em Danno, into the cooler with them. I let them sit for three hours.

Time to fry them, as always I start out with a little bacon grease.

My Grandmother used to keep bacon grease right by the stove. She used almost every day. Both Grands lived into thier 80's ;)

Funny thing is I eat a lot of bad stuff, fried foods, etc, and I'm clean as a hounds tooth inside. Had one of those procedures where they stick big needles in your thighs and inject dye to look at the flow through your arteries and heart, perfect (Forgot what they call that). My SIL is a Doc, one of his partners is my Doc. I get two complete physicals a year as well as see two internal specialists annually for cat scans, MRI's, etc.
