Tee Shirt Dave's Crock Pot Soup

Good pal named Tee Shirt Dave of Colleywood, TX sent me this recipe. Where he got it I aint got a clue but I temporarily name it for him. Aint tried it yet but looks highly plausible. The boy also tends to have purty good judgement in food..so I trust it if he say it good. He is a transplanted yankee but been here 30 or 40 yrs so he can be an honorary Native Texan. Can already see a few tweaks I would make but then a recipe is only a place to get started right?

If you like soup, particularly on a cold day, this is IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently stumbled on this, and it is great.
PLEASE try it!
Hope you have a slow cooker.
Feeds a family or LOTS of leftovers!

1- Slow Cooker liner
3- Cups vegetable juice (six pack of the 5.5 oz. cans)
2- Cups hot water
1 to 1.5 lb. - beef stew meat cut in 1 to ½ in. cubes
1- 32oz. (2 lb.) bag frozen mixed vegetables
2- Medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1- Small onion, chopped
2/3 cup BBQ sauce
3- tbsp. Beef flavor bouillon powder
½ tsp. crushed black pepper

Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker
Pour the vegetable juice, water, BBQ sauce, bouillon, pepper and onion in cooker and turn on to low and mix till warm.
Add beef, potatoes and vegetables.
Cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours.
Serve and ENJOY!!!
