The store didn't have the Good Seasons just add vinegar and oil packets of dried seasonings?

I use McCormick's Italian Seasoning, which I've always been able to find with the spices. Its ingredients are: Marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory sage, oregano, and basil, listed in that order. If you can't find any, you should be able to improvise adequately with those spices.

After quoting the McCormick's ingredients, I was thinking that I'd build it more nearly like your version, Scotty, heavier on oregano and basil. For spaghetti sauce, for example, I use ~ 1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning, which I supplement with ~ 1 tsp. ground oregano, a generous shake of ground marjoram and ground thyme, and ~1/2 tsp. crushed basil.

This what I found
3 tbsp. dried oregano
2 tbsp. dried basil
2 tbsp. dried thyme
2 tbsp. dried marjoram
2 tbsp. dried parsley

I used this recipe, tasted, then added a tbsp of sage. Good stuff! I like sage so it kind of brought it together for me.
