Fish Brine

Man, oh man. Buddy just dropped off about ten pounds of trout and about ten pounds of salmon. Frozen.
Any one have a tried and true brine recipe?
Last one was a little on the salty side. Any help would be great. I went on Google, but that was all over the place. Looked in all my cook books. No help there. I just need a simple brine recipe for fish. I have the garage fridge fired up so after the rinse (yea Scotty, I said rinse ) I can let them dry a little like all the recipes say.
