Chipotle Brisket Rub

I am looking for a rub recipe for brisket that uses ground Chipotle peppers. Anyone have one they wish to share?

I am looking for a new Texas twist on my brisket.

Thanks
Gary

Barbeque. Sit back, relax, and let the smoke work it's magic!

You can't drink all day, unless you start in the morning.

Nope, but I love to add Tabasco Chipotle sauce to everything, especially popcorn!

Thanks, That will be a good start. I will be experimenting with some of those to create the taste I am looking for.

Here's a variation of a brisket rub I make that includes chipotle:

1/4 c coffee, ground into a powder from fresh beans

1/4 c cocoa (Dutch-processed), unsweetened

1/2 c light Muscovado or brown sugar

1 Tbls dried thyme

1 Tbls onion powder

2 tsp ground New Mexico hot chili powder

1 tsp chipotle powder

1 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp ground allspice

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

You can certainly vary the amounts of the chipotle and NM powders.
