I'm looking for a recipe for a chinese marinate or sauce that is used in chinese resturants. You know the red one that's always used.
Thanks

Ask chunk food charlie for some. I just go up the street and they will sell me a quart for a dollar. I then jazz it up when I get home. Don't think you could make it any cheaper. Great with chicken Kebabs!

Got this from my boss at the Deli who is from China.
Basic Chinese Marinade

1/2 cup Soy Sauce (can use lite)
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 tsp grated fresh Ginger Root
a touch of Brown Sugar

This is just the basic you can use the following additions also:
finely chopped garlic
hot pepper oil
Tabasco, Sesame oil
chopped green onions

Use according to taste

He tells me that if you can find hot sesame oil at a Asian market, use that. Hot pepper oil is a must. Just what I was told. Let us know how you make out.

Put a cat in a wine press, then use the juice/fluids

Just nuke a cat:
