Chicken Livers

I'm bored with just grilling them. Any ideas out there how I can jazz them up?
Thanks
Pigs
P.S. I get them for free from my butcher. Guess no one wants them. I have 3 pounds of them I got today. Hay, free eats is free eats!

FRY EM!!!!!!!!

I grew up on fried chicken livers....use lots of cajun spice in the
flour, too.

Thought about that Jim, but it screws up the stove and kitchen too much. Plus I'm too lazy to drag the turkey firer out.

yeah, that would be overkill, and frying does stink up the kitchen
but I'm gonna fry some zucchs today anyway...Heat Index of 105 today!!!!

Chop em up and have some chicken liver tartare.
Or pretend their goose livers, and sear the outside, slice and eat.

Boil them in some chicken broth until desired doneness/tenderness, add some rice and cajun seasoning to your taste.

come on, you're a country boy....eat some raw chicken livers
and tell everyone it's a delicacy!

and post the pics here!!!!!

lol

hey, big GQ's idea is right up the alley of dirty rice....make
some stock and make the rice, add the cooked chopped livers
and some sausage, all the spice you want, maybe some chopped
onion and green pepper.....it's dang good eating.
We've got a chicken chain down here called Bojangles
that serves it as a side, and I love it.
I make it at home without the yardbird innards and freeze it
small batches....great quick side dish or sometimes it's a breakfast
for me. But the original recipe called for chicken innards, so you're
right there already.

This is what I ended up with. salt pork and onion. They kind of look like heck, but were tasty.

That's what I was thinking, catfish bait. Put some garlic powder on em, put em in the sun until dried and looking good. Bag em for bait.
