Max, you can control your own e-mail and subscription settings and adjust them as needed.

Click on your user CP (link on upper nav bar) and then look in the left side menu for "settings and Options".

Under the messaging and Notification section you can set your Default thread subscription preferences. Instant, daily, weekly or none. Be sure to scroll to the bottom and click save when you are finished to save your preferences.

You can also manage your existing subscriptions. Look on the left side menu for "subscribed threads". Open that section and you can see and dismiss existing subscriptions.
