We had tuna tonight and I fired up the Mini BGE. Served with Lima beans, spinach, and a cucumber and tomato salad. Sauce was butter and lemon.

The rub was Durke Citrus Grill I got from Sam's Club and the Mini was at 550 degrees when I threw them on for 2 minutes per side.

This little cooker is a searing machine! If you knock it back to 450 you have time to rotate them to get cross hatch grill marks. At 550 you better be standing there ready to flip or you will pass your target of rare in the middle before you know it.

The tuna don't leak out no fat like a ribeye so the fire don't shoot up for a nice hot sear pic though.

Plus, I have used this lump 7 times now and have not had to add any on these fast cooks.
