Do you remember the size of this roast ?

The one I cooked tonight was only 1.69 lbs. It was about 1-1/4" thick at the thickest point. I have had steaks that big. The butcher is telling me that smaller is better. I don't know about that. The one I cooked was not real tender but had a good flavor and there is none left.

Brian, last time I got tri tips from Costco they were cut in the shape of country style pork ribs. They were still good, I used them for skewers!
