Tri-Burgers

I hope it's not sacrilege to grind up a tri-tip but that's what I did tonight.

I took this.

...and turned it into this, seasoned with that.

...and then turned that into this.

Charred a poblano over the gas-assist.

Everything ready for the fire.

On, after the only flip.

Indirect to finish. Mine got a slice of the poblano. The women wanted theirs sans peppers.

Cheesed.

Off.

Plated with some homemade pasta salad and guacamole salad.

Delish! Have a great weekend, all. Thanks for looking!

Re: Tri-Burgers

Those look and sound great Don. Seems in the past few weeks I've seen several burgers made with a mixtures of Tri Tip and other beef now that you pioneered it I'll have to give it a try.

Re: Tri-Burgers

That looks delicious Don. I'm going to have to get a grinder so I can get my own meat mixed for burgers. Great job.

Re: Tri-Burgers

Never tried tri burgers, but have made, and really like, ground brisket burgers.

Re: Tri-Burgers

You had me at Tri, I'll have to give that a shot. Done brisket, chuck, sirloin and bottom round but never tri tip. Looks outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
