Got some chuck eyes from a local market...the meat guy impresses me.

Nice n fresh ... so just a lil oil and S&P.

Par baked taters, half sliced, stuck some onions in, oiled n S&P. finished em on the grill ... simple tonight.

Some "harry converts" ... I'm not sure why the cannery people pre-sliced em.

Your levels are off and I thought you tolt me you were doing choice chicken ribs?

Great looking steak ScottyDaQ! Chuck eyes sure are good. Can you explain the parboiling of the potato? Looks delicious.

Shores, not parboiled ... parbaked. Bake em for about 20 minutes, just so you can cut into em to put the onion in, oil and season between the slices...then finish on the grill. ;)

Oops. :oops: Thanks. I'm gonna have to try that soon. I just did chuck eyes last Friday at a comp. Man are they tender! That was my dinner, chuck eyes and nothing else. Brought a potato, but didn't feel like messing with it.
 
Those are some pretty steaks. It's a good thing next Friday is pay day as I need to buy some chuck eyes and beef chuck boneless short ribs.
