This is a real fun way to cook. I love it. BIL picked this up in South Texas and every chance I get to use it I don't pass it up. ABT's using hot banana peppers and jalapeno peppers.

Yes it moves up and down and will swing side to side. There is a big hole in the center and the pan is to stop the deck from burning up.
 
Thats actually my older brother. He likes a pipe and is too big and mean for me to argue about what he puts in it. :roll:

Dinner was some chickens on a Bubba Keg. Little brother was in charge of that department.

You can see what Big brother was in charge of.

Bil was somewhere counting his money.

I'd sure like to have a pit like that. I have something similar for when I go camping that goes in the ground by the fire, but that would work great for the back yard!
 
We take the grid off and build a big azz fire in it when not cooking on it. It's thick! I don't see it wearing out in my lifetime.

I think he paid around 350.00 for it
