I needed a steak, so I got a steak! Also did some new potatoes, red onion, red pepper and beans drizzled with EVOO and S&P. Steaks seasoned with S&P only.

I'm guessing you used the high heat method and pushed right through the plateau? ;) ;) ;) ;) Personal record for time? ;) ;) ;) We want to know, please tell us. Remember, only talk about you! ;) ;) ;)

Only high heat for 'grilling' for me......if you make BBQ high heat, you're NOT making BBQ. I don't care who says what or who has what awards or recognizations for doing this and that. BBQ is BBQ and is meant to be cooked low and slow, not hot and fast. PHUCK Myron Mixon (I pump 1 gallon of juice in my briskets and have them done in 3 hours and win). That goes to show that KCBS Judges have a taste for shit and nowadays, it's like KCBS wants the money they get from the classes, versus having GOOD SEASONED judges. Basically, my 8 year old daughter could pay the money, take the class and be a judge. Sure, she likes good food, but just cause she took a class doesn't make her or anyone else a good judge of BBQ. It is 7:30 in the morning, I haven't had coffee yet, have no idea why I just went on this rant, but everytime I hear about the 'high heat method' I just shake my head. Next thing you know people will be soaking their meat in Liquid smoke overnight and cooking briskets on 50% power in the microwave. WHAT IS THE RUSH PEOPLE? If you want BBQ take the time to make BBQ. Don't make some bastardized version of it because you're in a hurry. If you're in a hurry cook a phucking burger or a steak. I gotta go take my meds now, cause I could go on and on with this all day and then when I pop my first top at 10am, you won't want to hear what I really think about the HH Method.
