These turned out great and have been put on the short list for go to burger recipes.

looks great! you know, if people would just look, there are some
fabulous recipes posted on this board in the recipe sections....I make
em from time to time and have never been disappointed.

California is correct, Marin County, specifically San Rafael. Bordenave's is a Parisian style bakery in San Rafael that makes some mighty fine bread, the burgers were on their French Rolls.
