Made Beer Brats with a little help(er)

Last sunday we had brats on the menu. UsedBone Sucking Rub.

Oh yeah, the help(er) was my daughter:

Potatoes: scooped a hole with a melon... (knifething) and filled with garlic/herbs butter

Then some action without camera's. brats in another dish, drained the unions, soaked the brats in the hot beer (keeping them nice ans worm) grilled the unions in the ovendish with some brown sugar and when that was done grilled the brats to get them nice and brouwn. added then to the unions and served:

Sure was nice and done it with a great help(er) ;)
 
Those look great. Nice to cook with the daughter. Groovy pink Crocks on the helper. The wife has Blue, Orange, and Black. I'm sure the pink one's will show up soon. :roll:
What kind of brewski was she pouring in the pan. I always go too strong, or too weak. Just can't seem to get the Brat thing down. Think I over cook them.

Great looking brats. My wife is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they really love the beer brats there. I love your back yard, as well. We live in Souther California so everything here looks pretty dry.
 
Ya know since taking a second look at them pics I notice even the cook is a right handsome fella. Nice haircut too. Sorta reminds me of a younger version of somebody I know.
