Cat's been wanting burgers of any kind lately......so I saw bratwurst patties and picked them up the other day. Got home from my buddies house a little late last night, so we just cooked them inside.

Got them on sale to boot!! 4-1/4lb burgers.

Two slices of Swiss per Lucy.

Into the pan along with warming up some kraut for mine.

My Jucy Lucy with lot's of kraut and spicy mustard. YUM BOY.

Looks great, Larry! I've been wanting to try and make those, just regular hamburger though. I have never seen the brat burger either. Whats next, a hamburger in the shape of a hot dog.......yep, seen that on the BBQ Pit boys site.

Have you tried to make the "Squeeze In" burger from DDDives?

Hay that's allright. How did you make your kraut. My family is from Germany and I'll be dammed if i'm gonna spend all day doen it that way. I put the store baught in a pot and simmer with some butter and a little pepper and call it done!
