I am enjoying vacation! Up at 0530 to be at the poles for 0600. First one in line to vote, in the rain, and dark. Loved it.
Came home and made chiabatta bread dough for my pizza. Worked out perfect because I had a Dr. appt. and it would allow plenty of time for the rise. So after a few stab and jabs and a few suttle comments about getting old, the Doc pronounced me fit for duty, except I need a few more tests to be sure.......... Yeah right $$$$

Hey that's criminal to show such a nice pizza. How long did you let the dough set before using it for your pizza? I do ciabatta bread for panini sandwiches but the recipe calls for an 18 hour rise time before shaping the loafs and baking them.

I let is rise 4 hours then flatten it out to shape. I let it rise another 2 hours while flat and then top and bake at 550.
 
Looks like a great way to celebrate good health to me! Roll Tide!.... oh wait.
