Made some shrimp using a brine from AB's Good Eats show last night...Came out awesome ..Started out with raw shrimp, shell on. Brined in 1/4 cup salt, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 1 cup ice for 20 min to a half hour. Grilled till pink. I served with grilled zucchini and a salad...
Juicier and a bit sweet..I dipped mine in butter. The wife dipped in cocktail sauce (ketchup and horseradish) to start, but switched over to butter. The zuch was marinaded in a store bought herb and garlic marinade. A piece of the zuck on the same fork as a shrimp made a tasty bite...
