Decided to make a bunch of finger foods tonight for dinner.

Baked some pocket thingies(I don't know what they are called)Some with pulled pork, bbq sauce and shredded cheese and some with with Mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce and pepperoni. They don't look very good and I forgot they were in the oven so they are a little darker than they should be but they were good.

Made some of Larry's now Famous Sriracha sauce wings. This time I tried this with blueberry preserves, someone else tried it and said they tasted great and they were. Highly recommended. Also made some regular Buffalo wings.

How did you make the cornbread? Looks great!

2 boxes of Jiffy corn muffin mix. Follow directions on back of box and added 4 oz can of diced jalapenos, 8 1/2 oz can of creamed corn and a handful of shredded cheese. Preheated the cast iron skillet, let the batter set for about 5 minutes before pouring in a buttered skillet, Baked for approx 35 minutes.

Looks great to me, bet those wings messed up some pie holes. I like them like that every now and then. No playing poker with those bad boys at the table. unless your a pro and can eat them with one hand. ;)

All they were was Biscuit rolled out and added a filling that I had on hand. I usually just buy the big biscuits that are in the roll and flatten them out, put a filling in them and fold them over.

Some may call them "Bridies". A small Scottish pie...usually made with beef or lamb, but all is fair game. :)

Well Im highly impressed. That is some greating looking chow. Purtiest cornbread I ever seen. Smart thinnin on rolling out them canned biscuits. If you ever get real industrious flatten out the biscuits and cut them half in two. Throw them a few at a time in some hot deep fry oil just till they brown up lightly. They will form themselves into hollow bubbles..then you just bite off one corner and fill it full of butter and honey. Wowser. Us Tex Mex folks calls em Soapapias.
