The old Ann Landers recipe, grilled indirect at 350º for about 1-1/2 hours with a hunk of maple in the lump.

Served with garlic mashed potatoes and frozen "Oriental Blend" veggies

Sorry about the plated pic quality. My tripod was still out in the car.

Looks great.

Are you going to make me (us?) google "old Ann Landers meatloaf recipe"?

BOB
:D OK, I did...

2 lbs. ground round steak
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. ketchup
1 tsp. Accent
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix

Mix thoroughly. Put into loaf pan, cover with 2 strips of bacon, if you like that flavor. Pour over all one (8 ounce) can tomato sauce. Bake one hour at 350 degrees, serves six.

Yup, that's the one. I was going to (yeah, sure!) dig the recipe out and post it after my meeting tonight, but you saved me the trouble. Thanks, Bob.

BTW, I make mine without the MSG (AKA Accent) and it tastes great.
