Got home from Texas and first thing to do was GRILL!

Chicken;

Steaks for the inlaws, and sausage;

Then some bread dough wrapped asparagus with feta cheese;

Oh, and some chocolat cobbler topped with ice cream!

Please explain the asparagus thing! It looked great!

Just make the standard pizza dough, although I usually add some herbs in with the dough for flavor. Then pop open a can of asparagus and drain it and dry it really really well. Roll out the dough, lay on the gus and the feta, and then roll it up and seal all the edges. Let it sit and rise again for about 30 minutes then just bake it. This went 35 minutes at 425 with a light coat of EVOO. It would probably have been better cooked on a stone but I was in a hurry and just flopped it in a ceramic dish.

Surprised the hell out of me on how good it was. I'm definately wrapping more kinds of stuff in dough.

They sell all kinds of stuffed breads, Chickens, pork chops, down here. They are pricy too. I'm not sayin that Ron Bought the bread or that it aint his own origanal creation, Everytime I go to the store they done stuffed sumthin new in somthin else,.

Even though I just dreamed this up on a spur of the moment thing, I'm pretty darn sure it ain't new. I've seen everything stuffed in bread but live animals.
