Cooked Brisket Mixed with 80/20 GroundChuck Burgers

Cooked a Packer yesterday. Most of the pics didn't out that great but here are a couple the did

Any how I saw an episode of DDD where a guy mixed cooked brisket with some 80/20. Figured I would give it a try.
A mixture of 2lbs chuck and approx 1 lb brisket

The burgers look awesome.
You doing a reverse sear before you smoke, or did I misunderstand?

We thought it turned out really good!!! I always cook my briskets doing the SmokyOkie Method. Briskets cook real fast, come out tender and juicy and there is always au jus in the bottom of the pan. This brisket only took 6 hours to cook.

Must have seen that same episode of Triple D as I have had that burger on the back burner for a while. With your endorsement V I'm going to have to put it on the short list. It looks great!

Dang that looks mighty tasty. I was fixing to call the slab savers when I see photo one...lol. Guess the conflagration abated itself.
