Have not had scallops in a long time. Those look tasty! Ever do a small wheel of cheese on a plank? That's tasty also. Please tell me you had the scallops with clarified butter.
Try some President Brie cheese on the plank with a nice sweet topping(after you cook it until soft) like Smuckers pineapple or butterscotch sunday topping.
Cherry pie filling for a topping is good too and is my favorite.
JB, the seafood barns here in Myrtle Beach were notorious for
stamping our circles of skate (I believe) and calling it scallops.
Most folks would never know the difference. They have no problem
coming on vacation, paying 23 bucks for AYCE, and fill up on crappy
food, when they can spend 15 to 18 bucks, get great food, and still
be full.
the hell with the poker guys, it's all for me! Bought a four pak
of different cheeses, some jack and cheddar stuff I think.
got busy suddenly with an unexpected cater this week, but
