I've been wanting to try carnitas for a while. Decided to make my father-in-law the guinea pig on this one for Father's Day.

Went with this recipe.

Browning.

Best pork ever. I think I like it better than pulled pork...

Thanks for looking! Have a great week, all!!

Outstanding looking carnitas Don. I have been wanting to try making carnitas for a while too. My Wife even brought me home a carnitas pot and wooden spatula recently.

Looks great Don. Thanks for the recipe. I may have to try the elderberry cosmopolitans as well.

Oaxacan Corn! Wow. My Grand pappy made it on the farm. He would take a ear off the fire and dip in in a coffee can half full of water and two pounds butter. The butter stuck like glue to the corn. Then jamb it a # 10 can of mayo. from there on out you had to jazz it up with salt, pepper, parm cheese, hot pepper, hot sauce and lime as you wanted it. My uncle Joe would put ketchup on his. YUCK!
