Found this recipe and wanted to try it. Sirloin Steak, Chicken breast, yellow squash, red and yellow onion, baby portabella mushrooms, red bell pepper.

Marinade is 1/2 cup teriyaki, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 tspn. garlic powder, 1/2 pinch of ginger. That's enough for 1 lb steak and 1-12 lbs. chicken. I tripled the recipe, added the squash, and used equal parts of chicken and steak.

Chopped everything up. Whole 'shrooms, meat in 1" or so cubes, squash 1 to 1-1/2" peppers 2", onions in wedges.

Put it all in Ziploc bags and divided the marinade up equally, refrigerated overnight.

Outstanding flavor! The squash and 'shrooms picked up the marinade really nice. It also got in between the onion layers. Peppers tasted like peppers. The meat was excellent, especially the chicken.

Next up, found a recipe for bacon wrapped chicken/pineapple kabobs!
