Didn't know where to put this. 3 lbs of raw almonds . Fired up the Performer to around 250-275* and added some red oak wood chunks.. Put some kosher salt,granulated garlic, ground chipotle pepper in a coffee grinder and ground it down to a fine powder. Put the powder in some melted butter and tossed the almonds in it. Cooked them for about 3.5 hours till the nuts were crunchy. Removed the almonds and tossed them with some more of the powder mixture. I can't stop eating these things, they taste great.
