No Sugar added Dreamsicle Smoothie

For the folks who want an icy cold frosty beverage but are trying to limit sugar intake or just not drink a lot of calories. It really does invoke that classic Dreamsicle taste we loved as kids. These can be spiked with Vodka if you feel the need but then you need to consider the calories.

Ingredients:
1 rounded teaspoon of Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange drink powder
(make it a heaping teaspoon if you want super strong orange taste)
1 and a half cups of Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt (Lowfat is OK and sugar free OK too)
1 half cup Lowfat milk
6 to 10 ice cubes

Method:

Toss ingredients into a good blender or smoothie maker and blend until ice is thoroughly incorporated. As described, makes 1 very large smoothie of about 200 calories or two small ones of 100 calories each.

Substitutions: You may use soy milk or rice milk and soy yogurt or … use silken tofu in place of yogurt. If you use silken tofu, use vanilla flavored soy milk for best results and add a whole cup for better blending. You may use any flavor of Crystal Light but the Orange works best. Next best is Raspberry Ice flavor.
