Broccoli salad

[Puff1]

Kind of a weird combination, but gooooood!

1 lb. fried bacon, crumbled
1 large package shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 sweet onoin chopped
1 c Miracle Whip
1/2c sugar
2 tbls. vinegar
A couple bunches of broccoli

Cut broccoli into bite size pieces.
Mix together with onion, bacon, and cheese
In separate bowl mix together M.W.,sugar,and vinegar
Mix all together and chill for a bit
Enjoy!

Hey I've been making a version of that for years! I love it! In my version (which is on down the page of threads) , I leave out the cheese, use mayo instead of Miracle Whip, and add raisins. Now Walmart is carrying a similar version in the deli which isn't too bad really.

Kraft Mayo is my pick but I did try the Walmart brand and it's not too bad. I haven't seen Dukes since I left Georgia.

My wife's family makes this for family gatherings. They also add raisins to their recipe. It is really good!!
