Plain Ole Mustard Recipe

Mustard Recipe
4 oz dry mustard (Coleman's makes a tin that comes in either 2 or 4 oz)
1 cup White vinegar

Mix these two well and let sit overnight.

Whip in -
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt

put in double boiler and cook until thick - you will need to stir constantly and not heat it too fast or it gets lumpy. If you under cook it it will be very runny.

I add a tablespoon (or three) of Chinese mustard powder to give it a little zip. Good stuff. Or just make it with all Chinese mustard powder. That will clean your nose out! Enjoy! I tinker with the stuff all the time. Fun indeed!

The vinegar will probably tame the Chinese mustard. The awesome stuff like you get with your egg roll in restaurants is just dry Chinese mustard and water. (Let it rest about 20 minutes before using.)

I love the stuff from Penzies. 1 T of Chinese mustard and 1 T of water, let it sit and put on pork rinds. That will take your head off.
