ya'll know about this grill?

Camp Chef 3 burner propane grill
http://www.campchef.com/catalog/item/1/ ... ooker.html

comes with a "true-seasoned steel griddle". It's 300 bucks here, but
Costco has it for 200.

Never mind what I'll use it for, my question is what's the deal with the
seasoned steel griddle?

Do I treat it like cast iron?

Do I need to keep seasoning it?

If I keep it outside in a plastic bag that zips up, will it rust?

If it's cast iron... treat it like it's cast iron.
If it needs seasoning... season it.
Yes.

I take a vote it prob mild steel and not cast. Only problemo be the heat distribution cuz steel aint good at it..but notice it mentions about the skirts so guess that be an attempt to shunt some of the heat back under the griddle to make it cook mo evently. Guess it works since they claim it do. I have two camp stove griddles made from aluminum and non-stick on the bizness side. Love them to death. You could always snag one of those at Wally World if you wanted. No I would not carry the steel griddle in a plastic bag. Tow sack..burlap bag maybe. Needs to breathe in my view. Now wouldnt hurt the aluminum version I dont think.
