Walked right passed this sucker sitting in my corn last night. He hissed at me and I almost crapped myself. I think its a Texas Rat Snake. Can y'all confirm?

We call them rat snakes... They ear mice,rats,frogs,roaches.. They have fangs way in the back of their mouths. Non Venomous.. Scare the hack out of ya though.. Let it bite your hand... won't draw blood, you'll just wet yourself...

ah, the proverbial "good snake".

We had one of those in our yard last year AND I BLASTED THE
CRAP OUT OF THAT SUCKER! SNAKES NEED TO EAT THEIR MICE
AND BUGS IN OTHER PEOPLE'S YARDS, CAUSE I'D RATHER HAVE
MICE AND BUGS!

I'll pass!
