Very relaxing and fun to film birds.

I went to the North Sticks to relax Friday morning. The wind was howling from the north but wasn't cold. It made a strong current from north to south and the tide was kind of high. I fished with the DCD3 rig on my HDX & LDX using Dead nasty shrimp, since no live was available & orange fish bites that cost $7.99 now at Wally World. I caught 2 pomps, let one go...5 giant hardheads, cooked all them on the beach...two whitings, gave one to the birds and let the other go free. One baby stingray.. I posted all the pics and videos live to facebook via Iphone..Once I got bored I decided to take up my old hobby of photography and started shooting birds. It was a blessing to see the young birds learning how to catch food and be weened off their mothers. I haven't had this kind of fun for a long time. I got some really awesome pics. If you like birds, check them out. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend. It was also good to see Colin Davis... click the collage for whole album...BTW, I didn't cook the hardheads...

I think I might have been a twinkle in my fathers eyes when that song was around! Man, how old are you?

Surfinsapo + bird photos = Surfin' Bird?

It makes a strange kind of sense... if you're in the middle of a 1960's flashback.
