recently arrived in a local supermarket, so I bought some. I try to try every regional sauce. This one is from Greenville NC and he could get killed anyday if he ever tries to call this an eastern NC sauce. I couldn't believe how sweet it was on the spoon test. No heat at all, although it claims to have a "little bite." I bought the grilling sauce, and had already dumped some in with boneless pork chops for a marinade. Now I'm really worried about burning the outside, we'll see.

I think Finney bought the actual bbq sauce, maybe he or whoever told me they bought it will chime in here.

The grilling sauce is a tad thicker than Lexington style, but not thick like a KC style.

I always reserve judgement till after cooking it.....that should come tonight.

better than I thought, but I added crushed red pepper, Tabasco chipotle and Tabasco Habenero. so I guess I don't know. I'll buy it for family members when I need something sweet.
