TV Alert

Tonight on the History Channel at 10, it's Modern Marvels: BBQ

some footage was filmed at SOTB in April. We may see some of our
smokers, and maybe even Big GQ patting some butts. No interviews,
but you never know when you might spot a Finney or a Wolfe in the
background.

Also this Saturday Sweatmans BBQ in SC is being featured on BBQ
America on PBS/ETV. Check your local listings for details.

I'll be the one sitting on the curb putting batteries into either a Nu-Temp or a Maverick. I did both... just don't remember which one when they were filming.

Anyone watch the special on buthchering that just got done? I thought it was pretty cool. I got pissed when they talked about injecting meats with those salt solutions.

Also, the wsms of me and Big GQ, and the last two in the line of
WSM's from the BBQ4U comp team!

and then they showed a good clip of Big GQ rubbing mustard on butts
on my big grill! When do the checks start coming in!?!?!?

Pretty cool! Had about 4 seconds of national airtime. AND not too bad of a shot of me slathering on the mustard for the rub.

This is crazy....Paparazzi all on the lawn, damn phone won't stop ringing, rabid fans knocking on the door, panties hanging from the trees...hey wait a second...is that Jack W's wife out there!? I knew she would finely wise up and come to the butt-rubbing daddy!

I'll leave you all with the first autograph.

I liked the parts thats spoke to woodburners. The infrared gassers I could pass on. Overall, it was pretty good but gave me cause to wonder if they are trying to compete with the food network.

Sorry guys, don't know what you all look like, so I couldn't ID anyone with 1 second of footage.
